Mt 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

            How does one love their enemies???? You MUST have the Love that God is. God Is Love ( agapao) {ag-ap-ah'-o} love, beloved, you have to Love them the way God did when he sent his only begotten Son to Calvary.
Lets notice that this passage makes it clear that one does not have to attempt to work up an artificial feeling of Love. The quality of love expressed here is expressed by giving, Bless them that curse you. The gospel of Luke says "Hate you" so it is not necessarily someone who is cursing you. But the sinners out in the world that hates Christ. Do good to them that hate you,,,, Pray for them that persecute you, Loving an enemy involves getting involves in their lives. It is doing good for people who do not agree with your way of life. (sinners) in order to win them to your cause, (Christ) If you cause is not Christ then leave them alone, they are probable better off without your help.
The message of the kingdom, therefore is, that we will win more people to Jesus with this kind of Love than with contentious love and divisiveness. This passage of scripture is the application of the heart of the gospel and the heart of Christ which is LOVE.
            You have heard it said that you can cut this book any were and it will bleed, That blood being the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. And when we cut it into the heart of Jesus Christ, He died on the Cross to save sinners. and not matter were you open his word you will find him seeking the sinner. You cannot have Christ and not know about soul-winning. it is a MUST in the life of Jesus Christ, and it is the life and soul of the child of God. Most of us who hold that the Bible is the word of the living God sent down to man, was written by The Holy Spirit. Are you smarter than God, Are you smarter than the Holy Spirit. If He , The Ho;y Spirit guided the men that penned down the words contained in this book , what makes you think He would give them a mistake to write it in the word of God.
            NO!, NO!, He would not, and then if He wrote the book, I submit to you that he put every word, jot, and title, exactly where he wanted it, and it means exactly what He (God) wanted to say in that passage of scripture, Can you translate Greek better than the Holy Spirit, He invented the Greek in the first place, Has man became smarter, or Greater than his maker. I THINK NOT. So why can't we as follows of God (Christians) just take the words of this book as meaning exactly what God wanted to say to us. And leave it at that, Get in the book and obey it. And I guarantee you when you get wrapped in the LOVE of God you will desire the same things as God and that will be the salvation of the lost. We preach, we sing, we witness, we give, we love, we build church houses, we build buildings, we run Buses, we do everything we do, we live our life to win people to Jesus. Isn't that what the Apostle did? Everything he did was centered in the Love of God for the lost.
            D.L Moody Had a lot of enemies surrounding him in Chicago, But he vowed to God he would not sleep at night until he had won someone to Christ that day, and testimonies go that people have seen him walking the streets of Chicago late at night looking for someone to lead to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
